Getting started
How do I import my timetable?
Download your schedule as a calendar file (.ics) from your school's portal. Then open it with UniQueue from Mail or Files, or tap Import .ics in the app. Classes, rooms and holidays come across automatically. You can also add classes by hand in Settings.
My school changed the timetable. Do I start over?
No. Import the new file. UniQueue updates times and rooms, keeps your colors and reminders, and asks before removing classes that are gone.
How do I move the day or time labels?
Drag the day labels to the top or bottom of the timetable, and the time labels to the left or right. You can also set them in Settings.
Reminders and widgets
I'm not getting reminders.
Check that notifications are allowed for UniQueue in your phone's settings (UniQueue → Settings shows the status). On Android, also allow Alarms & reminders so they arrive on time, and turn off battery optimisation for UniQueue if your phone is aggressive about it. Opening the app now and then keeps the reminder queue topped up.
How do I add the widget?
iPhone: touch and hold the home screen, tap Edit → Add Widget, and choose UniQueue. For the lock screen, customize it and add UniQueue below the clock. Android: touch and hold the home screen, tap Widgets, and drag UniQueue onto it.
Backups and new phones
How do I move to a new phone?
On the old phone, go to Settings → Export backup and save the file somewhere you can reach (Files, a cloud drive, email to yourself). On the new phone, open that file with UniQueue, or use Settings → Restore from backup. Your data is never stored on our side, so the backup file is the only copy.
UniQueue Plus
What does Plus include?
Live Activities on iPhone (your class on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island) and the month/year recap. It's CA$9.99 a month, and the first month is free.
How do I use a friend's promo code?
Open UniQueue Plus in the app and tap Have a promo code?. Enter the code in the App Store or Google Play screen that opens; it adds another free month.
How do I cancel or restore my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google. iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Android: Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions. On a new phone, tap Restore purchases on the Plus page.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by the store you paid: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com for the App Store, or through Google Play's order history.
